The Falling in Love Montage by Ciara Smyth – Book Review
I had been looking for a copy of The Falling in Love Montage by Ciara Smyth for quite a while, and when I finally saw a copy at my local bookstore, I was so excited! I had been on the market for more positive LGBTQ+ stories with happy endings, and this one seemed to check all those boxes. In honor of It’s Christmas, Carol!‘s second year at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, I wanted to take this time to republish one of my favorite interviews I wrote for Southern Oregon University’s student newspaper, The Siskiyou. Last year I saw a preview of It’s Christmas, Carol!, and I had the honor of interviewing the director, Pirronne Yousefzadeh about her directing process, what the show meant to her, and her favorite things about Ashland, Oregon. You can read the original article here.
