The second prompt in the November challenge!

During the month of November, I did my best to follow a daily writing challenge, and while I lost steam a bit, I wrote what I thought were pretty good pieces! This piece is based off of the first prompt, “crisp air.”

My therapist asked me to describe my thoughts, and what they looked and felt like.

Rollercoasters

I have two favorite kinds of rollercoasters—the Freak Out and the Gravity Wheel (I’m not sure what the actual names are, but that’s what we’ll call them.).

Buzz

A poem about all the thoughts running through my head.

autumn

A poem about the yearly anxieties that come to mind whenever the trees start to change color. This poem was featured in the first issue of the Southern Oregon Zine The Junk Drawer.
