Hollywood Nights – My Weekend in LA

In June, I took a road trip to Los Angeles for the UCLA Extension Certificate Graduation, since I earned my Certificate in Screenwriting for Film! And I REALLY wanted to walk across the stage, since I wasn’t able to for my Bachelor’s degree.

A few weeks before my trip, my favorite podcast, Dungeons and Daddies, announced they were adding one last show to their east coast live tour, a stop in Los Angeles. The DAY BEFORE my commencement. So, obviously, I had to go. As a graduation present to myself, and as a treat for a rough year so far.

New Year, New Life Update

It feels like months since I have last written a blog post, but really it’s only been one.

I’ve written three drafts of this blog post, each one not feeling right. That may be my inner critic talking, bashing me down. Truth be told, a lot has happened in only a few months, and it’s hard to figure out where to start.

The Sporadic Life Update

Well, here we are again. One year of this blog being official. 

What has happened in the one year? I’ve already talked about my job closing down, grief, and seeing my favorite podcast live (still one of the top ten moments in the year). What else? It’s like when people ask you “how was school?” and you have to try REALLY hard about what school ACTUALLY has been like. Otherwise, everything goes out the ears.
